2. Installation of the back bed surface: Connect the back bed surface to the bed frame using the back frame pin, and then lock the pin with an open-end bolt. 

3. Installation of the headrest on the medical bed: Insert the headrest into the holes on both sides of the back surface of the medical bed, and tighten the fastening screws on both sides. 

4. Installation of the rear air spring: Push the rear bed surface upwards to a 90-degree angle. Use screws to insert one end of the rear air spring into the air spring support seat at the bottom of the rear bed surface. Then, use a pin to connect the lower support seat of the air spring to the U-shaped bed frame, and lock the pin with an open-end bolt. 

5. Installation of side air springs: The installation of side air springs is the same as that of back air springs. Just lift the side bed gently, press the U-shaped pin shaft to connect the lower support of the side air spring to the bed body, and then lock the pin shaft with an open-end bolt. Then press the side control button to place the side bed in a horizontal position. 

6. Installation of footrests for medical beds: First, turn the footrest upside down. Use the pin shaft to connect the tube and the support seat on the tube, and lock it with an open-end bolt. Rotate the screws on both sides of the sliding sleeve of the tube support, align the holes on both sides of the tube with the screws on the bracket, and tighten the screws with a wrench. Pick up the connection holes between the footrest surface and the thigh bed surface, insert the footrest pin shaft through them, and then lock it with an open-end bolt. 

7. Install the foot guard plates: Fix the two foot guard plates into the installation holes on the foot bed surface and tighten them with screws. 

8. Install the medical bed safety belt: Remove the safety belt, pass it around the cushion on the headboard, and then thread it through the two limit holes on the back of the headboard. 

Important points to consider when installing a medical bed 

When the left-right flipping function is required, the bed surface must be in a horizontal position. Similarly, when the back part of the bed surface is raised, the side part of the bed surface must be lowered to a horizontal position. 

2. When using the toilet, in a wheelchair, or when washing feet, it is necessary to raise the bed surface at the back position. Before doing so, please ensure that the bed surface at the thigh position is raised to the appropriate height to prevent the patient from falling. 

3. Do not drive on bumpy roads, nor stop on slopes. 

4. Add a little lubricating oil to the nuts and pins every year. 

5. Please regularly inspect the moving shafts, screws and guardrails of the medical bed to prevent them from becoming loose or falling off. 

6. It is strictly prohibited to push or pull the air spring. 

7. For the screw and other transmission components, please do not operate with excessive force. If there is a malfunction, please have it repaired before using. 

8. When raising the footrest surface, please slightly lift the footrest surface upwards, and then lift the control handle to prevent it from breaking. 

9. It is prohibited to sit at either end of the medical bed. 

10. Please fasten your seat belt. Children are prohibited from operating. Generally speaking, the warranty period for the medical bed is one year (the air spring and casters are covered for half a year).
